EEPSEA’s 36th biannual Workshop

EEPSEA’s 36th Biannual Workshop was held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from November 7-11, 2011. Plenary speakers included Prof. Jeffrey Vincent who spoke on "Using Panel Data to Measure the Economic Effects of Environmental Change" and Dr. Ted Horbulyk on “Impact Evaluation: Where Does It Fit in an Environmental Economist’s Toolbox?”

We also invited two distinguished speakers from the ASEAN Secretariat and the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Risk Reduction; Dr. Raman Letchumananand Mr. Jerry Velasquez, respectively, who spoke on priority environmental and disaster-related research issues in the region. Close to 90 participants from the region attended the workshop.
