EEPSEA is calling for applications to attend "EEPSEA Short Course on Behavioural Economics and Experimental Economics for Environmental and Resource Management". This three-day EEPSEA course will help researchers gain basic skills in experimental economics. Skills gained will be in terms of both theory and application to environmental and resource use issues related to common-pool resource management, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.

The course will introduce various economic experiments that can be used to examine risk and uncertainty, adverse selection and moral hazards in natural resource management and common property management issues.
The course will also provide an introduction to the application of behavioral economics covering key behavior concepts such as theories of decision-making under risk and uncertainty, social preferences, and intertemporal choice. Potential applications of behavioral economics to environmental policy will be also discussed.
Participation and Application
Accepted applicants will be fully sponsored by EEPSEA. Applicants must have at least an MS Degree in Economics or related fields.
