EEPSEA provides grants to fund research projects that focus on nationally relevant issues in its various member countries. These include its Competitive Research Grants, which are chosen from those who responded to EEPSEA’s Call for Proposals, are evaluated in time for the EEPSEA Annual Conference, and include dissertation research grants secured by Southeast Asian graduate students; and Small Research Grants, which are offered to research projects that have shorter duration or to researchers from provincial colleges and universities seeking to strengthen their environmental economics research capacity.
